Exposure Control
We expect our robots to operate in all environments and have worked to maximize the effectiveness of the vision system. For example, we have applied for a patent regarding a method to increase the dynamic range of the cameras. That methodology combined with on board lights enables the cameras to operate in everything from complete darkness to full sunlight. The robots also have full functionality in rapidly changing environments such as sunlight filtered through a tree on a windy day.
