- Founder, CIO and CFO of United States Association of Flying Clubs, Inc., providing Internet and telephony scheduling for aircrafts operated by flying clubs.
- Member of Board of Directors for Digital Transport Systems, Inc.; acquired by WG Wavetek.
- B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with concentration in artificial intelligence and robotics.
Bret, the initial founder, is VRC's visionary and technical leader. His interest in robotics dates to his undergraduate days at MIT. In 1999, he recognized that software and technology had finally reached the "cost performance threshold point" that would make household robots feasible.
